a new addition

Mommy and Daddy bought me a big, green ball at Target tonight. I started playing with it as soon as we got home. I love it! I love to chase it all over the family room.

I was in my walker. Then I started crying so Mama would take me out. And, well, I've been pushing it around and now I think... I may want to go back in?

playmates

Potter is the BEST playmate ever! He's great at sharing, chasing a ball and playing with my farm. We are both excited for the summer so we can play outside and swim too!

a new interest

American Idol premiered tonight. Mommy especially enjoys watching the auditions and now, so do I.

the best medicine...

is a nap. I've been having a really rough day... My left side tooth has come through but the other one has yet to make an appearance. Mommy says it's just like my two front teeth; one came in and then five or six days later, the other one came in. I had a really hard time taking naps today. My schedule was off all day. After I woke up from my second nap I was much better. Mommy says she hopes I sleep all night. She tells me that she feels bad because I am in pain. It's a rite of passage for me, Mama. I'm a brave soldier. And I know it will be over soon.

one is the loneliest number

I'm such a pro, I need two walkers. I'm even starting to stand with no hands. It's only for a VERY brief second, but it's still no hands. Look at me, Mama!

oh no, not again!?!

Oh my goodness... two more teeth! What is going on? I was up in the middle of the night and Mommy just checked my mouth and to her surprise, I'm getting more teeth. My bottom two sides. I've been in such a great mood lately that the teeth are a total shock. Make no mistake, though, they are there. At the rate I'm going, I will have a mouth full of teeth by the time I'm a year old!!

let 'em eat... mashed potatoes

Today was a GREAT day! I ate like a champ at lunch. I had lasagna with meat sauce, a Gerber 3rd foods specialty. Then for dinner, Mommy made her famous sour cream and ranch mashed potatoes. She usually puts bacon bits in there too, I didn't get bacon though. I loved them! I ate so well that Mommy let me play and feed myself for a bit. That was the best! She says I'm her big, growing boy. I did awesome with my solids today, here's to you, Mumma! I LOVE YOU!

Happy New Year! This year will bring great things. Let's see, solid foods, my first birthday and who knows what else?? Only time will tell. Here's to the best year yet and many more good ones to come!!!!
