I've decided to take my meals in Potter's dish from now on. I see him eating like this and because he is my best friend, I want to be just like him. Mama, I don't need my high chair anymore, I can reach this bowl just fine.

happy valentine's day?

Got my first haircut today. I did an ok job. I did cry, A LOT, but there were some times when I was calm. Mommy will cut my hair from now on, she just needed to watch someone do it to see if there was a certain way to style it. There isn't. Mommy cuts Daddy's hair and now she will cut mine too. I'm getting to be a big boy.

double duty visit

Not only are Grandpa and Grandma good at feeding me ice cream, but they make me walk. My very first steps... into the arms of my grandpa. Something we will always remember!

my first fort

Daddy built me my first fort tonight. I was very excited to play in it! It seems like all my toys are better when they are inside the fort. I hope Mommy lets me leave it up for tomorrow. She ALWAYS cleans up all my messes. Sometimes I like the way my toys are placed and I want to keep them in the same spot, but she always puts them away. Mama, please leave my fort up so I can play in it tomorrow when I wake up.

another first

I got a bloody lip tonight. Mommy got pretty upset. When I saw how upset she was, I stopped crying right away to let her know that I was alright. I think I was more scared than hurt. I fell on my dump truck and that's why my lip was bloody. This was a first that Mommy said she doesn't want to remember (or repeat).

naps are for wimps

For the past two days I've been surviving on one nap per day. Yesterday was a marathon shopping day. I only napped for about 40 minutes the whole day. Mommy thought I would sleep late because I didn't sleep that much during the day, but I showed her! I was up at 5 and wanted her to feed me. Today, we were out for a while and I caught a 30 min cat nap in the stroller. Mommy thinks I'm going to sleep late tomorrow. We will have to wait and see...

i heart pancakes

Mommy made us pancakes this morning. I ate all by myself. Mommy did break it up for me so I could eat it. I'm a pretty big fan of pancakes. I ate a whole one! Well, I did share with Potter. And... I'm learning to drink out of a sippy cup. I mostly chew on it, but I do drink some because pancakes make me thirsty.
