Mama and I spent the day with Aunt Lindsay, downtown. We ate lunch and shopped the baby stores on Division, downtown. We finished the visit at a bakery Aunt Lindsay likes... we shared a chocolate chip cookie, downtown. After dropping off Aunt Lindsay we picked up Daddy from work and headed back to Manhattan. Thanks for a great afternoon, Aunt Lindsay! No finer place for sure!!
I am a one year old boy today. Last night was my party. A big thanks to Aunt Lindsay, Grandma & Grandpa, Gigi & Popi, Great Grandma Jean and Great, Great Aunt Margie for a great night of pizza, cake and presents. My smash cake was perfect, shaped like a pot of honey. Mama loves Classic Pooh and had both caked fashioned after her favorite bear. Today is a day of relaxing. I go to the doctor on April 1st. Look for an update with new stats and a new picture.
My house is finally (somewhat) back to normal. We had hardwood floors installed in the kitchen and living/dining room and new carpet installed in the family room. Mommy and I had to be out of the house for three days in a row. It was rough! But, it was worth it because I am enjoying walking on the hardwood and laying on the carpet. This week Daddy is going to finish with the trim and put all the furniture back. I'm glad Mommy and I can be home again. We are enjoying the new floors together.
macaroni & cheese for lunch today. I'm a huge fan, Mama! And I love to eat it all by myself!
