a day at the beach

Mama, Daddy and I spent the day at North Avenue Beach yesterday. It was a beautiful day!! Not too hot, breezy and not humid at all. Aunt Lindsay joined us for some fun in the sun. Then we met Anthony (her beau) for dinner at a place called Riverview, which Mama pointed out, did NOT have a view of any river. We didn't get home until almost 8 p.m. But I have to say, for my first day at the beach, it was a great success. You'll notice in the pictures that I appear to have freckles on my face. I had a ton of sand on my face from playing with Daddy. Ahhhhh, the perfect summer day at the beach.

Rosie and I had some fun today running in the yard at Grandma and Grandpa's. She sure is fast. She kept chasing me and biting my toes. I can't wait for her to meet my Potter. I hope they become fast friends so that she can play at my house sometimes too.

Auntie Kimmy & her whole crew came into town this weekend. Mama, Daddy and I stopped by Gigi's last night to have dinner and some fun. Finn and Torrin have really grown since the last time I saw them, but then again, so have I. We mostly hung out on the deck because it was the PERFECT summer day. It was sunny and breezy without even an ounce of humidity. I ran around with the chuck-it, Daddy in tow and Finn and Torrin ran around the yard sporty squirt guns. When it came time for dinner, Mama decided it was time for me to try an All-American dish: hot dogs. I ate 2! yes, 2! I was a pretty big fan. In addition to my hot dogs, I also had one of my all time favorites, strawberries. I ate about 5. I was a big eater yesterday. Mama thinks I'm growing. Mama and I celebrated Father's Day with Grandpa a little early. It was the only time Aunt Lindsay, Uncle Steven and Mama and I could all come together. We had some dinner and lots of laughs, an all around good time. Happy (early) Father's Day, Grandpa. Love ya!

Welcome, Rose!

Grandma and Grandpa got a new puppy. She is VERY small, but I am used to rollin' with Potter and he is a moose. I'm learning the meaning of the word "gentle" because everyone keeps saying it to me whenever I head in her direction. I think she will make a great addition to my extended family. I really like that she doesn't bark at me!

Rest In Peace, Gretchan. We will miss you.

busy summer days

I know it's been FOREVER since my last post. Here are a few pics of what Mama and I have been up to lately. We mostly hang out with Liz and Carly and swim. There isn't really anything too exciting to report. I hope you enjoy the new pictures... I'll try to stay on top of things a little bettter, but we are having so much summer fun that time just gets away from me.
