play date for 3

Carly and Ellie came over today to play. We swam and snacked on grapes, graham crackers, goldfish and veggie sticks. It was an altogether fun afternoon. Ellie had to cut her visit short because she was so tired. After Ellie left Carly and I shared a popsicle Lady & the Tramp style. Liz and Mama thought it was so cute! After our date, I ate lunch and then settled in for a 2 and 1/2 hour nap. I was really tired from all the sun and fun. I hope Ellie got a good nap too. Thanks girls! We have to do it again real soon.

Loungin' poolside with my girl, Carly. Gotta love hot summer evenings. Mama and Liz put us in our swimmy diapers and let us play. It was great! Carly is a great friend and I really love sharing my pool with her.

We played outside this morning, like we always do. This time was a little different because Mama and Daddy put my pool at the end of the slide on the new fort that Grandma and Grandpa bought for me. The fort is radical! I'm getting really good at climbing the ladder and sliding down the slide by myself. Another cool thing about my new fort, there's even a place for Potter. I also played in the sprinkler for a bit. But, ultimately I ended up chillin' poolside. All in all, a great summer morning spent with my family.

Grandma & Grandpa came over for a visit today. I haven't seen them all week! They stopped at Creamery for Mama and got me my very own cone. It was delish! Then after we enjoyed our treats, we went outside. To my surprise, there was a really big box on the patio. A NEW TOY!! I'm still learning how to climb and slide, but I can tell this will be a source of great summer fun!

a new toy.... for Mama

Mama has been wanting to get a bike trailer for a while now. She loves riding her bike and wants to take me along too. Well, last night during a trip to Target, Daddy spotted a trailer that was on super sale. Mama was so excited. We bought it and last night Daddy put it together. This morning we took a leisurely ride on the gravel trail just across Route 52. It was fun. I enjoyed looking around at all the new things. At one point, I almost fell asleep. I am looking forward to morning rides with Mama all summer long!

15 month check-up

Went to the doctor today. No worries, it wasn't because I am sick, it's for my 15 month check-up. I now weigh 26 pounds 13.5 ounces and I am 34.75 inches tall. Mama was 36 inches when she was 18 months old, so she is hoping that I am too. I got two shots but I only cried a little. Mama says I'm her brave soldier. I think she cried too. I don't know why though, she didn't get any shots.
