beautiful morning

Piper slept until almost 7a.m.!!  WOW!  Great work, baby sister. Daddy went back to work today and we will miss him a lot. But this was a great way to start the week. Let's hope this is the start of a trend. Yay!!

happy Mama

Piper had a little bit of a hard time going to bed last night. She didn't go to sleep until about 11p.m.  But, she slept until 5:45!! Woohoo!  Great job, baby girl!  Then, after Mama fed her, she slept until 10 a.m.  Can't believe it!  What a big girl.

Piper is getting so big!  She even smiles now. She's especially happy this morning... Maybe because she slept until almost 4:00 a.m. before waking Mama up to feed her?  And she is sleeping in her own big-girl room. Way t'go, baby sister!  What a good sleeper!  Let's keep it up!

Parker is 2

Had a party for Parker's 2nd birthday tonight. Everyone had such a good time!  Can't believe you are 2 years old, baby brother. So glad I have you to grow up with. We love you!

you know it's Fall when...

I'm wearing pants and a jacket to school. Still a great day!

apple picking

We went apple picking today. In a town called Newark. It was a small farm, but they had apples, peaches, strawberries, blueberries, pears and veggies. We went for apples and Mama wanted peaches. It was fun... and messy. Parker kept falling down and had to take his pants off after we were done. Haha. Can't wait to get home and eat the apples and peaches that we picked. They will be delicious!

special delivery

Mama just got some essentials delivered from diapers.com. She planned to throw the box in the recycle bin... Parker and I had other plans. 

stats for Piper

Mama took Piper to the doctor today for her one month check-up.  She tips the scales at 9 lbs 9 ounces and is now a staggering 23.75 inches long.  Tall and thin, just like me (and Parker too).  Glad you're doing so well, baby sister.  Parker and I love you very much!

we love a parade

My town doesn't do anything for the 4th of July, but they have a pretty nice parade for Labor Day. And there are fireworks at night. We have started a tradition with Carly and Cam and Papa too. We go every year. This year was special because my whole family was there, including my new baby sis, Piper. What a fun day!!
