two boys in a... shower? and a girl in the tub.  Haha.  Mommy got a new fancy camera for Christmas and wanted to take some cutie head-shots of us with bubbles in our hair.  She's going to get canvas prints for the downstairs bathroom.  They turned out really cute!

cookies for Santa

We made sugar cookies for Santa tonight.  We made sugar cookies so Piper could eat them too. They had green and red sprinkles.  I put on the red and Parks did the green  They were crazy yummy!

zoo lights

We finally made a trip up to Brookfield Zoo to see the Christmas lights.  Abby's family brought us as their guests.  Mommy has always wanted to take us but someone was always too small or it was too cold.  Last night it was above 50 degrees when we got to the zoo.  It was SUPER crowded.  We saw some bears, they were asleep though.  We mostly did a walk around the zoo, took some pictures and then ended with some hot chocolate near the entrance.  It was fun, I'm anxious to see the zoo in the daytime this summer.  With Abby of course :)

 

oh, christmas tree

We didn't get the tree in the last post.  The helpers at the tree farm couldn't fit it through their bailing thing.  Not because of lack of trying.  We sat in the car for well over an hour while they fussed with the tree.  Mommy ended up picking out a new tree and the helpers cut it down for her.  Daddy had to sit with us in the car.  This is the picture that Mommy used for our Christmas card this year.  Isn't it nice?!

We go to get our tree on this day every year. Every year we walk the whole farm and always end up getting a tree right in front. Same happened this year. Thank goodness it was warm. 56*!  Can't wait to get home and decorate it!!

toothless wonder

Parker had to have his tooth pulled yesterday. Today, Mama finished Parker's hat. He wanted a Captain America hat. Cute pic, huh?!?

one front tooth

Parker had a bad fall about a week ago.  There was a huge bump above his tooth that wouldn't go away.  Well, Dr. Dulli said the tooth had to be pulled.  I was at school, but Mommy said Parker did great!  It was nice and quick.  I'm glad the bump is gone, Mommy said he looks cute with only one front tooth.

Piper's day out

It is crazy warm out today.  Especially after naps. We all went outside to enjoy the beautiful weather... Including Piper! It's her first time walking in the yard by herself!!  What a big girl she is now. So excited that she can walk and play with us in the yard!

trick or treat Knight

Today was the trick or treat at LW. We had such a blast. Even Daddy dressed up!  Piper was a princess, Mama made her shoes and crown (she kept taking them off) I was Batman, of course, Parks was Captain America and Daddy was the Red Skull from the Captain America movie. Parker's fave bad guy. Haha. Can't wait to wear my costume two more times, I love being Batman!

This is my chair. Parker has a blue one. Piper loves sitting in our chairs. Loves!  I think Parker and I are going to tell Santa that Piper needs her own chair. A pink one. Or maybe purple. We'll give him some color options. Until she gets her own, she can sit in mine. With me.

I've been off school for three days because I have strep. Ugh!  Now Piper has a really high fever. We've been trying to lay low all weekend so everyone can get well. Piper and I are playing Snow White. I know this is a girl toy, but I love playing with our little princess. 

double appointment

Parker and Piper both went to the doctor today.  Piper for her one year check and Parker for his three year.  I was at school, So I didn't go.  Piper is growing like a weed, she weighs 21 pounds 12 oz and is 33.25 inches tall.  Parker is 36.3 pounds and 41.25 inches tall.  Both are healthy and we are thankful for that.  Sorry I missed your appointments, guys, but I'm glad you got a good report from the doctor.

Parker, YOU ARE 3

Tonight was Parker's birthday party.  Can't believe he is 3 already!  Lots of friends and family were able to come and celebrate with us... We missed the ones who couldn't make it!  Parker got SO many nice gifts!  It was the most gorgeous day outside too.  All-in-all I would say this party was a huge success!  Happy Birthday, baby brother!  We love you!!!!!!

Piper's eye is still pretty swollen. This morning I noticed that she can open her eye just a smidge. So glad. It hurts my feelings to see her eye this way. But it helps that she is acting like her normal, happy (sometimes crabby) self ;)

Piper had a cyst above her eye that she had to have removed today. Mama was crazy nervous about it because the doctors had to make Piper sleep while they cut it out of her forehead. Yikes!  She did so well!  The nurses told Mama that she didn't cry at all. You are so brave, Baby Princess. Just like Merida!  Love you!!

family bike ride

I have been practicing like crazy on my bike with no training wheels. Mama loves to ride bikes and has been wanting to take a family bike ride for forever. Piper is old enough now to go in the trailer and Parker likes riding in there too. Today was the perfect day for the perfect ride. We rode on the trail in town where we had our pics taken back in June. Mama and I stopped to snap a pic on the very same bridge. We rode a very long time, but I wasn't tired!  Can't wait to go out again!!

traditions

Our town has a big parade on Labor Day every year. We've been coming for a few years now. Carly and Cam come with us too. Can't wait to get candy!!

end of a summer

All summer we have been meeting up with my KC pals at the park. Today was our last official play date before school starts next week. I have some friends in my class, but can't wait to make new ones! I'm going to miss seeing all my friends at the park, but Mama said we'll do the same thing next summer too ;)

drivin' miss Piper

Piper uses our car now. It was mine, then Parker used it. Now Piper can. That's pretty neat how we all used the same toy. She loves sitting in it and watching us play. She also likes when Parker and I push her around the patio. Soon enough she'll be walking on the patio herself...

dinner for 3

Piper will be one year old next week. I can't believe it!  How time flies. She is eating all the food that Parker and I eat. She loves corn. And peas. And sausage. And grapes. Haha!  She likes to eat a lot. I think she is growing. Keep it up, Baby Girl. Love you so much!

look, Ma! No training wheels!!

I'm officially riding my bike with NO training wheels!  We've tried a few times before, but tonite I finally got it!  Mama said I'm a rockstar!  Because I can ride with no training wheels, Parker and Piper can ride in the trailer. Can NOT wait to go on our first family bike ride!

fit for a princess

Piper got this toy for Christmas from Grandpa and Grandma. Mama wants her to have the entire Disney Princess Little People collection! She was too small to play with it then, but really loves it now! You looks so cute, Baby Princess :)
