a new addition

Well... Mama finally caved, we got a new car today. A minivan!  It's crazy awesome!  I don't have to get in and out of the trunk anymore.  And I have my own climate control or "wind" as I call it. Plus, I have my own speaker so we can rock out to all our favorite songs even louder now. Haha. Daddy has to take it back to the new car store tomorrow because they have to put our Christmas tree rack on the top. I'll post pics after it has all the parts. It's just like a transformer. I'm so in love with this car, Mama!  I'm glad we got it!

all good things

What an amazing couple of days. Friday I was able to bring cookies and celebrate my birthday with my friends at school and tonight we had a party. So many of my close friends and family were able to make it out. I got too many amazing gifts to mention. Can not wait to wake up and play tomorrow... Its going to be another great day!

happy birthday, Grandpa!

We all surprised Grandpa tonight and met for dinner at a restaurant by Grandma's work. Everybody came. It was a really fun dinner. And fast too. At the end, the waitress brought Grandpa some cake. We all sang "happy birthday" and then... The best part... Grandpa shared his cake with Parker and I. It was delish!  Thanks, Grandpa!  Hope you had a good time.

We got about 6" of snow overnight. School was cancelled. Daddy worked from home. After naps the three of us took to clearing all the snow.  Gotta love our Chicago weather!

Boy, oh boy, has it been a brutal winter!  I think we broke records for both temperature and snowfall. Well, today was above 50* so we took full advantage. After naps, Abby, Alyssa and Evan came over and we hit the park. It was fun walking through all the snow piles on our way to and from the park. We lasted there for about 20 minutes. But everyone was so wet and sort of cold that we came back to our house to change and play inside. Then we ate dinner, had cake and played a bunch more. What a fun night!!
