big girl bed

So, this happened.  Piper is out of her crib!  Mom and Dad found a good deal on a mattress for Piper and it was delivered today.  Piper is so excited!  She is in her big girl pink room in a big girl bed.  I think Mama is a little sad because Piper is the last baby in the crib.  On to bigger and better things, Mom.  Can't wait to see what's next :)

last day of First Grade

Well, this is it.  Another school year has come and gone.  I learned a lot this year.  I'm a great speller!  I made a ton of new friends.  It was a good year.  I am looking forward to summer though :)

school picnic

Today was my first grade picnic at The Round Barn in town.  It was a hot day!  Mommy was able to come and chaperone because Gigi sat with Parker and Piper.  We played soccer and climbed on playground equipment and ate lunch.  I'm really glad Mom was able to come.  I didn't want to wear the hat Mom make me, I wore this hat instead.

movie night

Every once in a while, Coach sets up his projector and lets us watch a movie on the side of their house.  It's such a treat for us!  This was our first movie of the "summer".  Our last day of school is this week!  Hope to have a few more movie nights this summer.

This is yet another project that Mommy has been working on.  My school picnic is next week and it's supposed to be really hot!  She made this hat for me to wear so I stay cool.  Parker has to model for the picture because I was at school. 

zoo trip

Aunt Lindsay's family moved to a new house right near Brookfield Zoo.  She and the boys invited Mama, Parker and Piper to spend the day at the zoo with them.  I couldn't go because I was at school today.  I heard all about all the fun when I got home.  I'm glad everyone had fun, but look forward to going when I can come too.

We got in the pool today for the first time.  It was freezing! But so fun.  Can't wait to swim all summer!

Mommy is still trying to iron out the kinks in this tulle skirt pattern.  Looks great, Mom!  Think Piper likes it a lot :)

Mommy made this skirt for Piper to play with.  She is practicing because Ashley said that Mommy could make the skirt that Piper wears for the wedding reception!
